Stone & Wood Official Beer Of The World Surf League

Stone & Wood is excited to announce a new partnership with the World Surf League (WSL) that will see the brewery become the official beer of the WSL Australia from 2025 – 2027, with big plans for activations across five major WSL events around the country.

The new collaboration means that surfing fans can enjoy Stone & Wood at WSL Championship Tour events at Bells Beach in Victoria, Snapper Rocks on the Gold Coast and Margaret River in WA, as well as the Newcastle Challenger Series event and the Bells Beach Longboard Classic. Located right on the sand, Stone & Wood’s onsite bar will be serving up cold beers next to the surfing action at all locations.

“Coming from Byron Bay, Stone & Wood and surfing have always gone hand in hand. We’ve been part of the local surfing community from the outset and partnering with the WSL gives us the opportunity to take that natural connection to the beach lifestyle to coastal communities right across the country,” said Stone & Wood Head of Strategy & Creative, Paul Tansley.

The partnership will be brought to life through broadcast integrations, including the ‘Stone & Wood Post Show’ and the ‘Stone & Wood Slow-Mo’, as well as a content series titled ‘Stone & Wood Real Talk’ which will take fans behind the scenes of the competitor’s area and event village. This content will be distributed across WSL and Stone & Wood’s social and digital platforms.

“WSL is thrilled to have Stone & Wood join as the official Beer of WSL Australia from 2025,” said Andrew Stark, WSL APAC President. “They’re a brand that was born at the beach and lives and breathes the coastal lifestyle. That, coupled with their passion and focus on community, makes them a perfect partner for WSL. We look forward to seeing Stone & Wood bring this partnership to life at each of our events around Australia by creating moments and places where we can come together through surfing.”

Visitors to Stone & Wood’s onsite bar at WSL will be treated to Stone and Wood Golden Hour on the first Sunday of each event window. This afternoon sundowner session will include a specialty heat featuring surfing icons riding alternative equipment produced by shapers with a connection to that area. There’ll also be live music, panel discussions, surf photography and films, giveaways and more.

See you on the sand for Stone & Wood brews and the best surfing action at WSL 2025!
