December 1, 2023 – Iconic Launceston Brewery, James Boag, is thrilled to announce the launch of highly anticipated “Boag’s St George 3.5” – a contemporary mid-strength lager that marks a fresh chapter in the brewery’s storied history.
Boag’s St George 3.5 is a distinctive mid-strength variant of the original full-strength St George, delivering a modern and refreshing new flavour profile.
Meticulously crafted in Tasmania, this release marks the first on tap addition to the James Boag lineup since 2004, with select Tasmanian venues trialling the product over summer.
Lion’s Tasmanian State Sales Manager, John Burchill said, “James Boag is synonymous with Tasmania, it’s fantastic to add another great brew to our already impressive lineup.
“The introduction of St George 3.5 underscores our commitment to answering the evolving preferences of beer drinkers.
“Every drop of Boag’s St George 3.5 will be brewed in our brewery in Launceston,” John Burchill said.
“Excitingly, we’re already receiving fantastic feedback from consumers and customers alike and look forward to many more Tasmanians enjoying a Boag’s St George 3.5.”
Boag’s St George 3.5 is available on tap at select establishments across Tasmania now.
