Beer o’clock just got a whole lot more social with Hahn releasing its refreshing  new brew, Hahn White, in a 735ml wine shaped bottle that’s perfect for sharing.

With its great taste and elegant bottle shape, Hahn White makes entertaining at dinner parties, BBQs and other social occasions effortless. Subtly spiced with essences of orange and coriander it’s excellent with food and makes a great alternative to wine.

A Belgian style wheat beer, or ‘white’ beer, Hahn White has been brewed with a lower percentage of wheat than traditional white beers, for an accessible and refreshing taste, brewed specifically for the Australian palate and climate and sure to appeal to men and women. It’s also lower in alcohol than other full strength beers and is low in carbohydrates and sugar.

For the calorie conscious, a 735ml bottle of Hahn White is low in carbohydrates and sugar making it ideal for the contemporary Australian lifestyle where it’s all about getting the balance right, especially in the New Year post-Christmas holidays.

Matt Tapper, Lion Nathan Marketing Director believes men and women who socialise together are increasingly looking for food and drinks they can share.

“The 735ml format of Hahn White makes it easier for friends to share a glass when they’re having drinks at the local, or when they’re sitting down to dinner in the evening ,” said Matt.

Hahn White captures the true essence of a Belgian style white beer and is best served the traditional Belgian way – with a slice of orange.

“It’s great on its own but for those who want to give the beer a sensory lift, serve it with a slice of orange. The serving style is called the ‘Carousel Ritual’ because cutting an orange this way is referred to as the ‘Carousel Cut.’” said Matt.

Hahn White, with its delicate coriander and orange notes can be served with a range of foods including fragrant Thai and seafood dishes. With an alcohol content of 4.2% ABV, Hahn White contains no artificial additives or preservatives.

As well as the 735ml wine shaped bottle, Hahn White is also available in 330ml bottles and on tap nationally.

A 735ml bottle will retail for around $8.99 with a six-pack of Hahn White available at a RRP of $15.99.
